Build Bridges Between Clues
Every Chainle puzzle presents five rounds of word challenges. Your task is to find a word that connects the given clues as closely as possible. Each round offers a different combination, making you think beyond obvious meanings and discover unexpected relationships.
The puzzle follows three formats:
- Two-Clue Links: Connect two words with one shared idea. For example, transportation + pizza → delivery.
- Three-Clue Link: Find one word that relates to all three clues. For example, summer + institution + associate → college.
- Single-Clue Match: Enter a word closely associated with one given clue. For example, plane → aircraft.
The first three rounds use two clues, followed by one three-clue challenge and a final single-clue round.
Five Guesses, One Daily Challenge
Chainle gives you one valid guess per round, so choosing the right connection matters. Invalid entries do not consume your attempt. Once you submit a word, the game evaluates its relationship with every clue and displays your result.

Follow the Chains to 5,000 Points
Each round is worth up to 1,000 points, giving you a maximum daily score of 5,000. Your submitted word is compared with the clues using a word-association system.
The connecting chains visually grow toward your answer, showing how strongly your guess relates to each clue. Every chain can reach eight tiles. When all connections reach their maximum, they meet in the middle and unlock the perfect round score.
Your results also include a ranking among possible answers, giving you another way to evaluate your word choices.
